How often do you send the Budtender Bulletin?

Once a month, with occasional special alerts for time-sensitive regulatory news and exclusive budtender events.

Can anyone nominate a budtender of the month?

Yes. Anyone including managers, co-workers, brand partners, customers, and you can even nominate yourself.

When are winners announced?

A new winner is announced each month in the Budtender Bulletin (monthly newsletter). We review submissions monthly and contact the selected budtender for more information before publishing their story.

Do nominees have to be CannSell-certified?

All nominees must be certified to work in a cannabis retail store. Although CannSell certification isn't required to be nominated, we encourage it for all Ontario retail staff.

I live outside of Ontario, can I still subscribe?

Yes. While our compliance updates focus on Ontario, many tips are useful across Canada.

I live outside of Ontario, can I still be nominated for Bud of the Month?

Unfortunately only budtenders who work in Ontario cannabis retail are eligible to be featured as the Bud of the Month.
