CannServe: Licence to Deliver Liquor
CannServe: Licence to Deliver Liquor gives you in-depth knowledge about the safe and compliant delivery of alcohol in Ontario. Passing an AGCO-Board approved course for the delivery of liquor is required to work as a liquor delivery driver, employee or contractor under a Licence to Deliver issued by AGCO. This training was developed to provide a delivery-focused certification program covering the legal framework, compliance requirements, and best practices for responsible liquor delivery.
Additional Course Information
To acquire the CannServe: Licence to Deliver Liquor Certification, you will need to complete the training program and achieve a grade of 80% or higher on the final exam. You will have a maximum of two exam attempts. The CannServe: Licence to Deliver Liquor training is one of the AGCO Board-approved programs for Licence to Deliver holders, their employees and contractors. Ontario law requires that all individuals involved in the delivery of liquor under a Licence to Deliver must complete an approved training program before they can perform delivery operations.

There is no minimum age required to take the CannServe: Licence to Deliver Liquor training, however, you must be 18 to work in a role involving the delivery of alcohol in Ontario.
What languages is the course available in?
Learners can choose between English and French at the beginning of the course. Please complete the course in the language initially selected. Switching between languages will reset course progress.
The course takes approximately 2 hours to complete, depending on your pace. You can complete it at your own pace, all at once or across multiple sessions.
What score is required to pass the exam, and what happens if I don't pass on my first attempt?
You must score 80% or higher on the final exam to pass. If you do not pass on your first attempt, you will be granted one additional attempt. If you fail both attempts, you must retake the entire course.
Yes. You will receive a digital badge and certificate upon successfully completing the course.
Will my certification expire?
Yes. The CannServe: License to Deliver Liquor certification is valid for five years from the date of completion.
